On assignment in Saginaw, spent 3 weeks at the Residence Inn and during that time we received excellent service. Our room was well appointed with a kitchen, nice living room and comfortable bedroom. The small gym and pool were nice amenities. The breakfasts are not elaborate but adequate. If you have pets you will pay an additional $100 deposit but it's worth it. The house keeping staff is very flexible in cleaning the room around your schedule especially with your pets (in our case 2 cats).

This is the first time we have stayed at this Residence Inn. Very pleasantly surprised from the time we walked in the door until we left. Very gracious hotel staff, they couldn't do enough for you. I was having surgery the next day and they wanted to make sure we were comfortable and that everything was okay. Good managers hour with a variety of foods each night. The motel was quiet and you would think you were the only ones staying there, even though they were full. Loved it, and definitely will go back when we need to stay in Saginaw

Room Tip: We had a corner room, and it seemed that it was larger than normal size

This property exceeded our expectations. I have stayed at Residence inns in the past and would say that this one was the nicest one I've been at. My cousins, that I was travelling with, were most impressed as they had never stayed at a Residence inn before. We had called the manager Chanze earlier in the day to deal with a cancellation, we had a cousin who was unexpectedly snowed in and couldn't make it and needed to cancel one of our rooms, he was professional and helpful and was there to greet us when we checked in. Other staff were professional and friendly as well, particularly the kitchen staff, but really everyone said hello as you walked by. Rooms were extremely clean and well maintained. We couldn't have been happier with our stay.

Room Tip: I always request a high room.

Facility was true to the Brand - it was clean, quiet, and convenient. Breakfast offerings were the basics but the presentation was nicer - not just having everything in plastic wrappings and tear open packaging that you can warm yourself like other hotel chains that "offer breakfast". Front Staff was pleasant and helpful. No issues at this time on this trip. Relative to the immediate area, found the daily rate reasonable.

This was our 4th stay here and all have rated "5"! We always take a suite with friends and usually stay a couple of days. This visit was sadly only 1 night and as usual all was good. They dropped to 4 for 1 reason only. They no longer have suitcase stands! Now an open suitcase must stay on your bed, on the desk or on the kitchen table (if you have one) Why did they remove this piece of furniture? The front desk said if we ask when booking, they will "try" to accommodate us!!! Excuse me?? So we re to put the suitcase on the floor? I don't think so. Marriott needs to rethink this stupidity. Yes, we will return, but if they cannot "accommodate" us at the time of booking, we will look elsewhere.
