upon arrival I checked the room out-bottle corks and bottle caps behing the end table and the room had not been vaccuumed properly in quite a while; the sheets were clean and the bathroom and general dusting ok, but move things and clean behind so new guests dont have to deal with former guests debris; no kleenex or alarm clock in the room and when we asked for a wake-up call on our morning of departure, we did not receive it; the breakfast is ridiculous-stops at 9:00 A.M.; people who have traveled do sleep a little past 9:00 A.M. and after that, you can't get so much as a cup of coffee; when you spend such a low price for a room you don't expect all of the ammenities of other motels, but you do expect it to be clean and be able to at least get a cup of coffee. On our 2nd day, after coming back, the maid service left toowels and washclothes and emptied the trash-period; the cork and bottle tops were still on the floor behind the end table, and the room unvaccuumed. I will not recommend or stay here again-you are in sad need of a good cleaning staff that has some pride in their work-CLEAN IT UP!!!

When we wanted to use the jacuzzi, we had to go and get cleaner from the store and clean it ourselves. There was no coffee maker or alarm clock or dvd player or VCR either. The continental breakfast was a joke too!We put water in the jacuzzi and the whole top of the water was filthy before we even stepped foot in it, so we drained it, went to the store, came back with cleaner and took care of it.There was no hot tub and the pool was outside. It was in the mid sixties outside and we did not want to swim in a non heated pool. The top cover of the bed had burn holes in it. We complained about this.

The beds were as hard as nails. No clock radio or alarm in the room. It took hours before the room would heat up. You would be better off drying with sandpaper then the towels they provide. Room was very musty. When checking in, they wanted to charge us a higher rate then we seen on-line. But finally did charge us the on-line price. Dead bolt lock didn't work too well. All-in-all, you get what you pay for. It would be well worth it to spend an extra $20.00 for a better hotel. We could not sleep at all. No extra pillows or blankets in the room. No coffee pot. If you want to get a good nights sleep, go else where. On the plus side, there was good water pressure and lots of hot water

Made an impromptu trip to Frankenmuth and this was the closest motel with a room. The room was clean, but very run down. The chairs where ripped, the TV barely worked, Wi-Fi was intermittent. When I looked in the bathroom, the paint was peeling off the walls around the shower and the baseboards were missing. The room had been painted in the resent past, but whoever they got to do it did a terrible job. They’ll never need to worry about having their towel stolen, very ruff and non-absorbent. The worst part about it was the toilet, the first time it was used, it overflowed. Someone came around to plunger it, and cleaned up the floor (with our towels), I had to go with her to the lobby to get more. The next morning, the toilet overflowed again, by this time, we just left. OK as a last resort

My girlfriend is a flight attendant and well obviously travels alot.
She has stayed numerous times in the past at this location and never had problems. However on this last occassion she has been treated disrespectful in many ways..
But first we will start off by saying they had a room booked for her prior to her arrival and had given a set rate for the room.Upon arrival room rate changed and went up drastically. After a good bit of complaining the prior rate was agreed upon.
Then to the room, toilets did not flush properly, bed sheets were dirty...had dirt marks through out and also found numerous hairs from prior guests on the sheets..Bathroom had presence of Black mold on the shower walls and around the base of the toilet. Not a very safe room considering exposure to black mold can lead to asthma and respitory issues.
Internet signal is almost non existant. So for the fact of needing it for buisness was just garbage.
There was complaints several times about these issues and was transfered into several other rooms. However this did not turn into any better of a visit. Rooms still felll under similar issues as above.
In the end Hotel owner did nothing but verbally disrespect me. She told me sshe was changing my rate back to the higher rate due to room changes as well as accusing me as having several guest staying over night which was not the case....
Had my boyfriend stop over a few times to take me out shopping and to eat.At longest he was at hotel was maybe 3 hours tops.
I travel and stay at lots of locations duee to being a flight attendant and this was by far the worst..I have been treated and stayed in better rooms in more unfortunate countries let alone in the states..
My advice to everyone is for the supposed $175.00 a week rate I was originally given to the changed and demanded rate she was charging of $235.00 + tax is go stay somewhere else..
I would suggest Super 8 which is only around the corner where there rates dont change at last minute and they respect there clientele....
AVOID KNIGHTS INN AT ALL COSTS.. SPEND YOUR MONEY ELSEWHERE AND BE TREATED WITH BETTER RESPECT...

Booking related disputes are very rare and in fact we give special attention to avoid such unpleasant happenings. This might have been a sporadic and unllikely development and the traveller himself maintains that his girl friend had never such a problem before. We regret for any inconvenience however. The hotel maintains a high level of cleanliness. We have renovated it further. Most of the clients are happy with their stay here.
