Fun to walk through a historical lighthouse with beautiful scenery! Its worth the detour if your heading to north west PEI.
When my daughter and I visited the lighthouse museum last July I knew we had to come back to stay at the Inn. We were not disappointed. Although we could not book our choice of room, we still had a comfortable room with an ocean view. The decor is tasteful and professionally done. There is an ample continental breakfast with locally made fresh made baked goods, fresh coffee, juices, fruit, and yogurt. The staff was attentive and friendly. The location is outstanding. We toured the lighthouse again and walked along the almost endless beach. Perfect!
We stayed in the Tower Room...highly recommend! Bed and linens were so comfy and room was incredibly clean & decorated with antique furniture. The clawfoot tub was lovely too. We enjoyed hearing the waves crash at night and the hum of the light up top the lighthouse. Not to mention the hospitality...great recommendations & even accommodated a gluten-free breakfast. We can't wait to come back and will make sure to head to the campfire for ghost stories!
If you can book the Tower Room, do it!! It was such a unique experience for my daughter and I. The room was very cozy, what must have been 20 ft ceilings, the clawfoot bathtub, oh my!! Just icing on the cake! We had our windows open all night for a light sea breeze, and slept to the sounds of the wave.
The continental breakfast was delicious, and very efficiently, all packed for us in the morning.
Staff was very friendly and helpful. Thanks for a great stay-cation!!
Nice spot with a great view! Rooms are comfortable and the lighthouse museum is interesting. Staff are friendly and welcoming. Would love to stay in one of the actual lighthouse rooms if we ever get a chance to go back. A little out of the way but glad we stayed here.
You may be a lover of lighthouses or indifferent to them (I can't think of someone who dislikes them...) This is a loveky one.
