We just loved this restaurant. The wine list was good, with good matches for the dishes served. My appetizer was perhaps the best one I have ever had with smoked Wisconsin chub, topped with scallion pancakes, bok choy, thai basil and a mustard sauce with nuanced layers of flavor. So good it was to die for!!! It paired nicely with the prosecco we ordered. My entrée was slow roasted brisket with a ramp chimichurri sauce. The brisket was tender and juicy but still had some crispy meat on the edges. My wife had the lake trout roasted in brown butter entrée and it too, was fabulous. She had a wonderful sauvignon blanc from New Zealand with her dish and it was an excellent wine that matched the dish. This is an expensive farm to table restaurant but the service was great and the food and wine worth every penny, to us.
