This course is a little gem in Traverse City. If you are looking for a course to play a practice round before playing the bigger more expensive courses in the area, this is the place to go. Course is well maintained and has a lot of "roll" for a smaller course. Also has a driving range to help work out the kinks. Course is perfect for golfers of all ages and skill levels.

Bay Meadows Family Golf Course has a 9-hole executive course (2,100 yds., par 32) plus another 9 hole, par 3 course. It's perfect for young golfers, beginners or just for a relaxing practice round. Best of all, it's never crowded, even on weekends. The practice range is very nice, the staff is friendly and the instructors know their stuff. My wife learned to play there last summer.

Combines nice par-3 and Executive - length 9-hole courses and a decent grass practice facility. Two putting greens, a chipping green and driving range round out the outdoor practice facility. Courses are great for kids, beginners, seniors, even the advanced golfer wishing to work on hitting greens in regulation. The turf was very well maintained, although I wish golfers would repair their pitch marks on the greens. Fair rates, nice carts, also walkable for those, like me, who are so inclined.

Excellent condition. Played the par-32 Blue course with an elderly relative. Able to use my driver on 3 holes, teed off with a sand wedge on 2 holes, used everything in between. Played in 2 hours and the layout was a suitable test for my companion. Nice practice facility as well. For what it is, it is done very well.
