We were 4 adults, 2 children in 2 rooms. We wanted adjoining rooms but could not get that. The staff was friendly and accommodating. The furnishings were upscale, comfortable, and clean. The room had both a microwave and small refrigerator which were used and appreciated. The pool area was used and enjoyed by 3 adults and the 2 children as well as others. We had breakfast in the hotel restaurant and had excellent food and service. I would be happy to stay here again. As I said it would have been perfect if we could have had adjoining rooms.

We stayed as part of a family gathering over the holidays. Here are the top two pros of this hotel: First, the staff was quite friendly and accommodating. Second, the hotel bar and restaurant had great martinis and delicious food, as well as a great selection of beers.

The pool area has been renovated nicely, and now has a better pool and a great hot tub!

We stayed in a suite that had a beautiful view of the Minnesota River valley, and the suite had a nice, separate living area with a second television, along with a beautiful granite counter and a quite nice coffee maker.

The bed was quite comfortable, and overall, the room was both functional and quite comfortable, along with quite a bit of storage for clothing and other items, as well as a fridge for leftover holiday food! This hotel's suites have a great living area for entertaining visiting family and friends, as well as all of those essential extras--fridge, coffee maker, coffee, etc., as alluded to before.

We have no complaints, except for the parking garage, which seemed in need of an update. The parking garage doesn't have a lot of parking for hotel guests, and the stairwell from the parking garage to the hotel is nearly an accident waiting to happen, given that it is one of the least pedestrian-friendly stairways that I have ever encountered, particularly in a hotel.

Overall, this hotel is a nicer one than the nearby Hilton is. If you are looking to stay at a comfortable hotel near the airport and the Mall of America, then this should be a suitable hotel.

Recently stayed at this hotel, it was our second time there. We had stayed here a couple years ago when it was a holiday inn property (kid's ate free), it has since change hands (kid's no longer eat free).

This facility is very clean, it appears to lean more towards business travelers and conventions than familes as the pool (salt water) is well... just a pool, no water slides, video games, or any other family type activities. That being said it's 5 minutes from Mall of America & the Waterpark of America.

The restaurant is decent, prices are on the high side I found. The breakfast buffet is served when the hotel reaches a certain capacity (which I suppose I can understand), when it is available, the buffet is pretty ordinary featuring the usual brakfast fare. Adults $12.00, Kid's $6.00. Honestly, the everyday buffet at the Residence Inn down 494, was one free for guests and two offered more variety, I expected more at the 3.5 star Crowne Plaza.

The beds & pillows are great, and our room was quite quiet even though we were neighbors to the ice machine. The rooms had all mod cons including a very nice flat screen TV, microwave, & fridge.

If you want clean, close to attractions, this hotel fits the bill nicely - it just doesn't dazzle.
