My wife and I stayed at National Forest Lodge for a XC ski weekend in late January 2017. Though ski conditions were less than optimum, the area trails are great and the hospitality more than made up for the unusual(let's hope) warmth and rain in the weeks preceding our stay. The cabin we stayed in was cozy and rustic and suited our needs completely. The cabin had no indoor plumbing, but it was a short walk to the bathroom, showers, and outdoor hot tub. Andy and the rest of the staff made the lodge a very friendly place, with great food in a communal setting in the lodge dining area. Saturday night featured live music by a band called Pushing Chain. Check them out, too. And as for the clientele, well, all the women were good-looking, and all the men were above average.
