Unusually for a motel, there is no parking in front of rooms and the parking available can become congested as it is shared by users of a nearby bar. That said, the room was lovely and large with a comfortable bed and provided an excellent base for exploring the island, with a lovely beach a few steps across the road. Don't miss the toad races in the evening just along the road!

great price, one of the cheapest places we could find. right near arcadia beach which in our eyes, was the best beach on magnetic island as its safe to swim and never crowded. right by the area where you can see the rock wallabies as well! the air con was strong and we had a nice balcony, and the bathroom and bedroom was clean. the beds were comfy! the lady and gent at reception were nice, and also we were allowed to use the hotel facilities, like the swimming pool! the restaurant in the property served great food :) and was cheap!

Had an overnight stay at the end of January. Stayed in a family room as there were 3 of us. The Manager of the motel was very friendly and greeted us warmly. The room was quite large had a king & 2 single beds. We stayed upstairs so our balcony looked out over the ocean. The rate for the room was quite reasonable. Definitely stay there again.

Made a booking a 2-3 weeks out from New Years Eve as a friend was coming to stay and we wanted to give her a special New Years Eve to remember. Never expected to get accomodation and had tried 10 others in the Island. Got New Years Eve and next night. Delighted. Lovely Eva also did our ferry booking which was brilliant. Took all the stress of us and it just went so smoothly. We were in units 7 and 8. Car parking right there by the unit. We walked over to the pub for meals. Coffee each morning at Bikini Tree Cafe and Resturant, right there attached to the pub. Best New Years Eve I’ve ever had. Meals cheap, so convenient. Not excessive noise from pub. Just people enjoying themselves. Walked over to see the Rock wallaby both nights. Swam at Alma Bay. Hiked to the forts. Lunched at Horseshoe Bay. Drive to cockleshell and West Point. Breakfast at Tamarind Tree house cafe. Also at Picnic Bay Pub. Just a fabulous 3 days and 2 nights. So close to everything. Would highly recommend staying here. Even if you don’t have a car it’s so close to walk or bus. Even hire a vehicle. Loved it loved it loved it.
