Just returned from our first stay and it was great. The entire facility is beautiful, clean, and well maintained. Pam was really great and offered recommendations for places for us to stop on our extended bike ride. We are planning many future trips to Brewsters Red Hotel; biking, skiing, girls weekends, and get togethers.

Can't say enough good things about this place. Jim and Pam were excellent hosts, the place was impeccably clean. Definitely would recommend this place and would certainly stay again. Since this was our first time in Lanesboro we weren't sure what to expect, but Lanesboro can feel proud to have them doing business in their town.

Pam (Brewster's Red Hotel) owner welcome us at the last minute when there was a double-booking at a local B&B for one night. She arranged for us to have a larger double room on the upper level of the hotel. We loved that this room had its own deck. This gave us nice views toward the Root River, hills and street scenes in Lanesboro.

There is a lovely, large private deck with lots of afternoon shade that we really enjoyed. Good free wifi. Outer room and bed room were ok. $140 plus tax

We deeply appreciated Pam's quick and immediate welcome.

We arrived on Thursday the 22nd. The weather was not great. When we pulled in, we were immediately greeted by Jim. It is always great to see him and catch up. We were planning on biking, but the rain showers kept us in. We were able to check in to our rooms. We always get Butternut west and our friends get Butternut east. The rooms are always so clean. We pick these rooms, as we are out and about a lot and not in the room. They are plenty big for what our requirements are. The property was immaculate as always. Jim and Pam have put so much sweat equity into the grounds. Their hard work is really paying off as the plantings are maturing and look great. I would recommend this place to anybody that wants to "unplug", relax, and have a comfortable stay.
Thanks again and see you in 2018.
Matt & Lynn.

We've been to Lanesboro before but never stayed. I knew this place from seeing it last time. We chose a room with a queen and full bed only because we wanted an outside balcony. We didn't need the extra bed. Consequently, the room was a bit tight. Also, the breakfast wasn't much... coffee and a bagel, and we don't drink coffee. But, that's not why we stayed here. The hosts were very friendly, and the place was clean and convenient. There were chairs on the balcony and lawn to use. We rented their bikes and went out on the trails one morning. I would definitely stay here again.
