Stayed in this hostel for two nights. The hostel is situated in an area that is not very touristic and a 30 minute drive by bus from Georgetown. It is a nice and quiet location. The hostel is located on the third floor and there is no elevator so you have to climb some stairs to get up.

Everything looks new and renovated, which is a surprise after seeing the building from the outside. The rooms have private showers, but you have to share the toilets. There are 6 rooms in total and 3 toilets (one wasn't flushing though). There is a washing machine, a dryer, a refrigerator, a microwave, a toaster and a small living room, which is very nice.

The rooms have airconditioning but my room had a little bit of a funny smell. The walls are very thin, so you can hear every noise outside.

The main tourist attraction in the neighborhood is the kek lok si temple, which is a 45 minute walk (if you walk in a holiday tempo).

The area is very nice and quiet, so if you want to get away from all the touristic places, this is a nice place to stay. The room prices are fair, not very cheap though.

This Hostel can say clean and no problem about Food.....it just 15 min walk to the "gak Lok si Temple" if driving just 5 min only....the owner say they may have a new hostel is coming up next year.... the bad thing about this hostel is. locate on the top floor of the shop apartment. and the blanket is for single people, not for double ppl ....the wall of each room not as good as you think, so talk slowly in the room....if not other will know what you say from they own room....what i can say the hostel is ok for me....and not ok for old people....

Room tip: old people can not stay at this hostel and leg problem too.....happy staying.....

This hostel provides basic but very comfortable accommodation in the suburb of Ayer Itam, practically underneath Kek Lok Si. If you're planning to get to the night markets, make it your base. The hostel is surrounded by hawker stands, so the food is incredible.
