I had a veg biryani and a chai . Biryani was awesome and finally I found good biryani in town. The guy who runs the place told me they do not use artificial flavors and colors and it looked like from the biryani. Great place to eat some authentic Indian food. They also have lunch dabba service near UOFM campus if you will like to get your lunch delivered

Tiny but friendly place with high colored and flavored dishes that could only be recommended. Food makes you traveling to orient.

Groupon has this restaurant listed as closed and I sincerely hope it is not! My husband and I visited this location last year while attending a conference and have not stopped talking about it since! It is sooooo good! Everything we had was awesome and we hope we can go back this year for conference!

It's is a little privately owned nothing fancy restaurant but the food was some of the best Indian we have ever had! If we lived in Minneapolis we would get fat on this stuff!!!

Owner was pleasant and helped explain the dishes/spices and even a little cultural background. Our appetizer, onion fritters, was served within 10 min of ordering. The meals followed in another 10-15 min. I had the Mahi Mahi in red curry which was a little spicy for me but loved the accompanying yucca side. My husband had the rib eye with rice and vegetables and found it to be very tasty. We were both full so no issue with portions.

We went with a couple of friends to try out this Kerala restaurant for the first time. The restaurant is located in a run-down neighborhood with shabby buildings and a sizable Somali population. We gave our to-go order and the owner (who is also the cook) said it would take 10-15 minutes. Never did we imagine, that we would have to wait 1 hour in order to receive the food. We complained about the poor customer service, but all the owner gave as an excuse was that "The food is freshly prepared, hence the delay". If the owner had proactively told us that it would take 1 hour instead of 15 minutes, we would have understood and waited. We were very disappointed. To add insult to injury, we were shocked to discover that the food was in tiny 8 oz containers, not even enough for 1 hungry adult to eat. It was a huge rip-off! The food tasted homely and authentic enough but the bad service, overpriced food in minuscule portions and the location will not make us come back!
