I took my son and 2 of his friends to Waskesiu for his 16th birthday. We really enjoyed our stay there. We camped with tents at Beaver Glen campground. It was a very beautiful place - the only downfall was the rainy weather. It rained on and off the whole time we were there. The kids really enjoyed the townsite and rented bikes to tour around Waskesiu. We also enjoyed seeing all of the deer and elk in the town. It was the first time for all 3 of the kids I had with me to be there. An awesome experience and we will definitely be back again!

If you take the scenic route into Prince Albert National Park, you'll be pleasantly surprised to see a lovely art gallery near the entrance of the national park. We just stopped to take a picture of the sign, then decided to take a peek inside. It was all wildlife photography with prices ranging $20 and up, coffee tables books, postcards, too. Very cool discovery.

The National Park itself isn't exciting but offers travellers a glimpse of undeveloped nature at its finest. Very relaxing.

Beautiful place. My family comes here every year during the summer to go camping. Can never get tired of this place. Can't wait to go again this year!

Stayed here in late December and it was gorgeous. Beautiful forest and lots of wildlife sign. Would love to go back in Summer. The park seems pretty accessible and there are few people in winter. There is also a lot of ice fishing, snow-mobiling and snow-shoeing
