We stopped here on our way home from fishing on a Sunday evening, and the parking lot was almost to capacity. You can order at the window, or if you turn your car lights on, a car hop will come over to take your order. They also have very nice outdoor seating if you prefer. There is no indoor seating, but they do have an indoor public restroom. The burgers are what this place is known for, so much so that you can buy frozen, seasoned patties to take home. You can also order burgers by the bag (you get 6) and save a little money. We ordered a bag of lo-boys, which are cheeseburgers with pickles, ketchup & mustard and Canadian bacon. They were excellent. We also had onion rings, which were cold and well done. I wasn't sure how many fries to order and the car hop suggested I get the small box, which turned out to be perfect. We were too stuffed for dessert, but the ice cream and shakes looked amazing. Nice, nostalgic stop.

You'd expect the Fonz & gang to show up.
Last stop in Canada before the border crossing and the long arduous
drive to Winnipeg. Pleasant break and a trip down memory lane.

This place is a local institution that has been around for over a half century. The meals are cooked to order and you can taste that it is a big notch above the chain places. A few funny things including chicken gizzards. Their shrimp burger is excellent as are the fried cauliflower. Shakes and freezes too. They have merchandise mike t-shirts and sweat shirts. Much nostalgia for those returning to Roseau after having moved away for decades. They still deliver the trays to your car.

Earl's opens to declare the beginning of spring and summer. It is a traditional drive in with car hops and window trays. There are also outdoor seating provided. Earl's menu is has a wide variety of selections, but Earl's is known for its High Boy and Low Boy burgers. The fries are always plentiful and served pipping hot. The fried chicken is excellent. The coleslaw is prepared fresh everyday.

They are only open from Memorial Day to Labor Day... approximately, they vary for weather. They have fairly low cost, fast burgers with great fries and shakes, all american drive in.
