I just can’t ever say enough about how fabulous this restaurant is!

I’ve become a “regular” over the last few years, going at least 2x’s a month. However it had been maybe 2 months since I last went just due to being out town. When I finally got home, and it was a friends birthday, I knew I had to take him to Mill Valley.

And they did not disappoint!!!

We walked in and it was still the same friendly atmosphere, and it’s usual staff with lots of smiles. We were seated by Jaija. And she is a GEM!!

Jaija was so friendly, helpful and fun to talk with. She saw us out as well and was still full of energy and even remembered our names.

But, the main part of the evening which was focused on my friends birthday, was awesome! We had drinks at the bar first made by Amelia, (who is one of the best bartenders in Uptown!!!).

Then I asked if we could be seated in ADAM’s section. I had never seen him before, wasn’t referred to him, but I just thought he was the coolest guy by listening to him chat with co-workers by the side bar. I knew my friend and I wanted him as we like to talk and joke around but are so easy, no high maintenance needed!

Adam was amazing. He’s extremely funny, friendly, and easy to talk to... almost too easy as we babbled his ear off! And yet he was completely professional, new his menu, answered all of our questions, and was so just so accommodating. I plan to tell people to ask for Adam if they can as we had an absolute best time because of him.

This restaurant has become a favorite. They have a variety of great plates and entrees, excellent wines, great servers and a lively atmosphere among the dining tables and booths and also outside in spring, summer, fall. The bar is busy on one end of the restaurant, the kitchen buzz is visible from the tables and the food is wonderful and healthy.

Had an excellent experience at the Mill Valley Kitchen. Was my first time and we went to celebrate a birthday. I thought the food was amazing and drinks were good and the atmosphere was very nice. Would love to go back there again.

I was in this restaurants multiple time: family dinner, friends lunch, birthdays and just for a drink in the bar.
Parking can be an issue and valet parking helps a lot. Waiting list can be long and it is better to make a reservations. So far all food that I tried was very tasty. Portions are not big but they definitely have attention to details. I eat and know how many caries in each meal as well as micro. My favorites: all salads, mussels, char. Cute deserts. Over all very nice atmosphere inside and what I like the most is the different crowd.

Visited this place for the first time with a friend and immediately upon walking in we both went ‘wow’! Very nice open and hip, very well decorated restaurant. Cool bar side area as well as a nice more formal dining space too. Good HH specials. Had a glass of wine and my friend had a signature cocktail - Dr. Feel Good. She really liked it!

We both ordered a flatbread and really enjoyed them. You don’t come across a lot of restaurants that do a great job of displaying calories, macro break down too. Felt nice to have a meal that felt like a ‘cheat meal’ but was truly only 400 calories. Their whole menu is very unique and great options! Farm fresh natural great choices.

Will be returning again!
Parking can be somewhat ‘eh’ on their back lot, since it is shared with other local businesses, but as long as not too busy it should not be too big of an issue.
