Had a nice lunch with my son there on a weekday (Wednesday), and it was quite busy. He suggested it (age 24). He works brewing hard ciders and wanted to try some of the beers on their selection (which is extensive).

We each tried a couple of beers we wanted to try. He also had a Pepper Jack Burger and I the Whitefish taco's, Both our meals were very good. The taco's had so many different, distinguishable flavors. Highly recommended (($10.50 for two).

You can also order beers by the "yard", which is about 2.5 pints. They ranged between $10-15.00 (depending upon your choice).

Overall, we got out of there for $55.00, less tip; inclusive of four craft beers and two lunches.

Ambiance inside is darker... very brew house, but welcoming and engaging. They have a small outside patio area in the west end.

We ate at the Yard House in Denver several years ago and raved about it. We have been wanting to come here since I found out we had one in the Twin Cities. It took a few years, but we finally made it.

Our first overall impression was that it was too dark for the type of place it is. We asked for a booth and were seated in their standard booth which would easily fit 8-10 people. Felt guilty with there being only 3 of us, but it wasn't too busy at that time so not like we were taking up space that was needed.

The menu has completely changed since our last visit. We ended up getting the Orange Chicken, Lobster Mac and Cheese and a Rachel. All had generous portions. The orange chicken was very good. The lobster mac had nice flavor with sun-dried tomatoes, asparagus and mushrooms, but there was very little lobster. For $25 I expected better. The rachel actually wasn't on the menu, but it's just a rueben with turkey instead of pastrami or corned beef. Should have been a simple substitution.

The turkey was real breast slices, with generous portions, but they were missing some of the other things that were supposed to be included, notably the avocado. I think the cheese and/or thousand island dressing was awol as well.

For drinks they have a HUGE selection of beers, 130+/- on tap, and you can build your own sampler, which I loved. The Moscow Mule was spendy at $10.25 but good, with house-made ginger beer.

The only real downside to the evening was the booth next to us, which featured several 20-somethings that should not have been served alcohol based on their loudness and conduct. They were clearly well "on their way" before they got there. Had they not left shortly after our arrival we would have had to move to a different location. Not sure why they were served alcohol as it is illegal to serve those who are clearly intoxicated, and they were CLEARLY intoxicated.

Once they left it was a wonderful evening. Good food, great drinks. Was it worth $100 (with tip) for 3 of us? Not so much. Glad we went, probably won't be back any time soon. It just wasn't THAT good to go the extra mile to go back.

Our group of 5 really enjoyed the cheese curds to start off our meal. Good portion size. Everyone enjoyed their entrees and several of us could not finish eating our entrees. The individual pizza is enough for 2 people.
Large beer selection. Good place to watch a sporting event.

I visited this location, having been to their location in Long Beach CA. Great cider selection - their pineapple is special to them. Also had blackberry-pear which was great and black cherry ciders. Korean tacos were okay, a little light on taste than expected for Korean. Service was friendly and attentive even though it was getting busy. I would go back.

Went with business friends for dinner. The place is very popular, full and very noisy. The service was great but it took the main about 1 hour or more to get in. One stake was well done instead of medium and it 30 min. To get the replacement. 1 hour and 45 min in the restaurant and wsiting for the dessert. So slow. Not to any standard.....
But, the drinks are great.
