I can't remember if it is Monday or Thursday night, but on one night their is a three course taster special. Love it! It is smaller portions of the specials for the evening and they are always delicious. Luci Ancora is a bit spendy, but worth the price for a lunch or a nice night out. It is within walking distance of our house, so we never need to find parking. Their lot is small, but you can use the lost across the street at Accolades. Great wine list! Excellent service. Great atmosphere and friendly staff.

Very lovely atmosphere and good service. The food is hit or miss for me. We tried several dishes. The soup of the day was tomatoe paprika. It tasted like unseasoned tomato sauce. The pasta carbonara was overpowered with pepper, dry and under sauced with dred out bacon. Very disappointing. We tried the fish of the day. Sea bass with risotto. It underwhelmed with blandness and lack of flavor or seadonings. The chicken marsala was well executed and very good. The salad with buttermilk dressing was delicious. The gorgonzola croquettes came out with one being tiny and one being huge. It wasn't really a croquette, but cheese fried in a piece of dough that had huge air pockets and it was bland and hard to get a concentrated bite of flavor. Deserts were good. We tried flourless chocolate cake and creme brulee. Safe choices. Overall portions are small, very pricey and really hit or miss. Big bill and underwhelmed.

Went there because we heard they used old world wheat. The pasta and bread were not only great but a treat to my gluten free spouse. Staff was so pleasant and engaging. Food was delicious (each did the 3 course menu at $37). We hope to become regulars. Try it.

Visiting the Cities and catching up with friends we rarely see, and we got babysitters, reservations, and made a special night of it. Portion size is tasteful, and the food is all prepared with careful attention to quality. The only disappointment was the caprese, which is out of season now anyway, but the hand-made pasta was outstanding, and the gelato , frankly, blew my mind. On-site parking, which is huge in St. Paul.

Each dish only had one flavor and it was overpowering. The Caesar salad was garlic, the carbonara was black pepper, and the dessert was almond extract. The service was good and the texture of the bread and pasta were great, but each dish only hit one note and it was deafening. I chose this restaurant for its TripAdvisor reviews, and I was really surprised by the subpar food.
