Absolutely stunning surroundings with lake, church, and mountains on all sides. We got a corner room with a balcony and updated bathroom. The restaurant is s romantic gem and gluten-free friendly. Be sure to try the sparkint water, somehow it's bettet than all the rest, served on tap with extra large bubbles. Church bells sung us to sleep each night. Perfect honeymoon spot!!

Lieber Gast

lange Transportwege.

Freundliche Grüss

Ihre Paxmontana Familie

Nice location, view and Building but extremely loud at night.
The bar had music until at least midnight and it sounded like I was sleeping in the bar.

The Restaurant was able to prepare a Vegan menu at last minute which is a plus.

Room Tip: As far away as possible from the Bar.

This hotel sits on a small mountain in a very beautiful setting. During the day time and sunset, the hotel is a picture of perfectness, lovely, clean, fresh mountain location. At night the reality sets in as you are left struggling to sleep. There is no air conditioners or fans. One hundred metres away a small church's bell chimes every hour. Two hundred metres away you can hear the constant clanging of cow bells that adorn a small heard of sheep, as they move around all night the bells never stop. In an effort to be comfortable, my wife and I had to open both the doors and windows (we are on the first floor!) but close the curtains and pray that no one would come into our room whilst we slept. The food and hospitality were good, despite not being able to eat from the buffet after 8pm. there were no snacks on offer at their small bar. There was an extensive wive, beer and spirits menu albeit all in German. I think this hotel would be great during winter but do not recommend it during a summer heat wave which is when I went there.

Room Tip: for the view choose the front of the hotel, for the breeze you'll need the rear rooms.

The prices are OK, the rooms are tidy and well decorated, but what struck me with most surprise is the scenery surrounding the hotel. There's nature in its most beautiful form everywhere around it, creating mesmerazing beauty everywhere we went.

Lieber Gast

Loved, loved, loved this hotel. Felt like heaven. Room decor is older but I felt it appropriate for the setting of this hotel. Food is a bit questionable but it would not prevent me from staying here again. I believe there are 1 or 2 walkable restaurants nearby. Lovely walking paths with views of mountains and lake. Second floor facing the lake is best. First floor does not have an enclosed balcony meaning anyone can walk by your big, beautiful windows. Hated to have to close the curtains or shutters.

Room Tip: Stay on second or higher floor facing the lake.
