Hotel is in a good location across from beach. Rooms are decorated in modern style. We had a nice view of the beach. The only complaint is that the breakfast was sparce thirty minutes prior to closing. The breakfast room was full...no eggs, no cinnamon rolls, etc...and they were not refilling until we spoke to manager.

We came to Biloxi for a girls beach trip. Staff has been very polite. Rooms are okay. Only complaint I have is the water pressure in the shower is very low and the temperature of the water is not very hot.
Hotel is convenient to beach as well as restaurants.

I have always enjoyed this moderately priced hotel's prime location but thought that it was in need of a face lift. Now, it's perfect!! The hotel is now a Holiday Inn Express so breakfast is included. The young man working the breakfast area was amazing. He was out and visible asking people what they needed and keeping everything stocked and clean. The front desk staff was efficient and friendly. A couple of restaurants are in walking distance and the beach is just across the street. I can't wait to go back!!

Room Tip: High floors with a view are so peaceful!

2018-05-01 Holiday Inn Biloxi beach review

Remodelling-in-progress six-storey hotel away from the beach on Biloxi's beachfront road. My newly renovated room had up-to-date plug-ins on a long work desk. Various-intensity mood lighting controls were at the desk and by the bed. My impressively dust-free air-conditioned room also had a mini fridge. The amply spacious bathroom was well-stocked with toiletries, and the standard supply of clean Holiday Inn towels. Kudos to the housekeeper!

Hotel is located off the beach a couple of miles west of the main casino area of Biloxi, where decade-long post-Katrina (hurricane) rejuvenation has seen the return of some beachfront bars and eateries featuring seafood, numerous souvenir stores, a gas station convenience store, a Waffle House, and a casino with a buffet restaurant—all within walking distance.

Lots of outdoor parking. Rooms are all along an interior hallway, entry to which is secured by the use of the guest's room key. The panels and the walls of the two elevators—both of which worked nicely—were the only part of the hotel that gave away the hotel's age.

The pool at the rear of the hotel was clean and stocked with fresh towels. Kudos to the management,, The pool furniture was also kept clean and smoke-free.

I had originally booked my room at a higher rate that included dinner for two. On checking-in, the friendly receptionist provided neither a voucher nor instructions for dinner. When I asked, she proceeded to act surprised, and informed me that the hotel dining room was being eliminated as part of the renovation project. When reminded that she had just finishing checking me in at a dinner-inclusive rate with no longer a restaurant in operation to serve dinner, she immediately apologized for not having ceased selling dinner-inclusive rates in the reservation system on the termination of the restaurant operation, and assured me that she would credit me with the extra $25 charged for the dinners. The credit was promptly applied at check-out.

My stay was pleasant and relaxing. This hotel is recommended for those seeking non-casino accommodation, yet a notch above the motel style hotels along Biloxi's beach front.
