Description: Family owned and operated, SideStreet Burgers is about simplicity but also creativity. We're about the American classic but also about a world of culinary opportunities. Give us a try. You won't regret it. Memphis-born Chef Jonathan Mah has been in the kitchen for most of his life. Before he could drive, he was working the grill in his father's steakhouse and by the time he could vote, he was earning his chops at Koto's and Erling Jensen's, two top-tier fine dining establishments. In college Chef Mah majored in hotel and restaurant management at the University of Tennessee-Knoxville and would go on to work for Chateau Elan Winery and Resort in Georgia. Afterwards, Chef Mah spent some time in the corporate world as general manager of a Chili's in North Georgia. In 2011 Chef Mah returned to Memphis to serve as the Executive Sous Chef at Alchemy in Cooper Young. Now, he's back in Mississippi running his own ship and dishing out some of the top burgers in the county.

So, this place is super tiny. The ordering is a little different, crowded and what not. But stay, the food is amazing ! I like the fat panda and the skinny panda . I have had the tacos, and the shrimp poboy. The fat panda is my favorite. Must try!

A wonderful local business with really amazing food. The place itself is clean if a bit rustic, but has a wonderful front deck, great for good weather.

This burger joint was a bit off the beaten path, but well worth it. Don’t let the hole in the wall appearance keep you from stopping. We walked inside and placed our order at the counter. They have a small area inside to dine and also offered outdoor seating too. The staff were very friendly. Their menu offered a nice bar of burgers, tacos, sandwiches and side items. They offered daily specials. Some of the items we decided to try were their shrimp po boy, spinach turkey burger, garlic roasted asparagus, potato wedges, and roasted okra. For dessert we opted for the Irish Carbomb bread pudding. Everything came out hot and fresh. They had a condiment bar to dress your own sandwiches. It had pickles, peppers, onions, tomatoes, lettuce, and dressings. They sold beer. Everything was hot and fresh. Our least faves were the Irish Carbomb bread pudding and the potato wedges. The bread pudding was hard on the edges and the wedges were nothing special. Everything else was outstanding. Be sure to drop in and give this place a try. You won’t regret it.
