We stopped in here one morning looking for breakfast while camping nearby. They open at 9 am but don't do breakfast, but they asked if we wanted to look at the menu, which we did. Some items sounded good, so we returned on a Friday night for dinner. Their menu isn't large and has a New Orleans vibe. We decided to start with the crab cake appetizer - it was really good, but there were only 2. They were breaded nicely, golden brown on the outside and flaky on the inside, and it was topped with a lump of crab meat and drizzled with a sauce they make in house, which was delicious. We just wished there were more of them. My husband ordered the Acadian catfish, which he said was good but it wasn't a large portion and he wished there was more. I had the N. O. BBQ shrimp, which was a bowl of rice with a kind of spicy gravy on top, and the shrimp was sitting on top of all that goodness. The shrimp were cooked and seasoned perfectly, a slight bite of spice but not too hot. Overall, meal was good, service was spot on, and we enjoyed the dinner. They were just getting their patio ready for the season, and it overlooked the marina and dam on Sardis lake.
