Recommended by our hotel and hard to find (their burned-out sign doesn't help) but very sweet friendly staff and good family-style Italian --being enjoyed on a rainy Sunday night by a number of happy families. No frills but cold beer and generous portions at a bargain price. Hence the families with happy kids and mellow parents.

Hidden in a strip mall but just look for the big yellow "Gus' Fried Chicken" sign and Avell----- is right behind them.

There are monitors for sports and news fans in each corner as well as outside. There a daily Italian specials and the desserts are nice. I usually have a carry-out box, as the serving are generous.

We ordered delivery and the pros were - it was fast, it was fairly inexpensive. The cons - well, the food just wasn't that good. We started with side salads which featured plenty of iceberg lettuce. For entrees we got 3 - spaghetti, ravioli and a calzone. Spaghetti with marinara - it was ok. The marinara was quite spicy, which I like, but was surprising. The cheese ravioli was your standard frozen ravioli with more of the same spicy marinara. The calzone was disappointing. It's difficult to describe the dough, but it wasn't like normal pizza dough. It was kind of wet and soggy. Overall, the meal was edible - not bad, but not great.
