Friendly landlord friendly service unfortunately my partner and I had beef roast and we both left it unappetising a lot of money wasted. Carpet had not been hoovered

An impromptu Sunday lunch visit, The Biddestone Arms is well worth a visit and has plenty of parking. The fried gnocchi with cheese fondue and chives was delicious as was the crispy pig with apple sauce. The pork was tender and the yorkshire puddings, although a little greasy were homemade and the vegetables cooked just right. Giles is a character and makes you feel very welcome. The tables are well spaced out and you do not feel as if you are sharing a meal with your 'neighbour'. A relaxed meal in a lovely environment. Will definitely go again.

We had budgeted in the beer garden. They came with chunky chips, which were pretty good as were the burgers. There was no garnish, which I found a little disappointing. The landlord is very friendly and is working to get the pub back on its feet after its problems.
