The staff here is totally service oriented and with a big heart! Delightful and very professional and genuinely friendly desk person named Nancy that is easy to talk with and very helpful. She is also fluent in Spanish and super easy to ask about local dining places. I stayed over a week in this hotel and find the staff all friendly and family like which is rare in a larger hotel chains. The value of the rooms is excellent and the rooms have new AC and Heating units with all new carpeting. Great layout of the room with an extra window seat/shelf for storage! Breakfast is basic and enough for any person desiring a nice easy hot breakfast. In my stay housekeeping is pleasant and the rooms are kept super clean! Beds are medium firm and had NO bad back from their mattresses..big plus for me! Their rates are reasonable and the value is great for long or overnight term customers. Easy parking that is security lit and is in a safe low crime neighborhood. Lots of families seem to stay here on the weekends I noticed, so seems great for kids too. They have a pool and the lobby is compact but nicely appointed like an upscale hotel! Over all this is the best place to lodge in my opinion if you are visiting Kansas City as location is easy on off ramp to Hwy 70. You will enjoy the staff and their friendly professionalism. When I stayed I had freezing rain and my car got frozen totally and he staff let me take warm water to deice my car so I could get into it. The hotel has a nice laundry facility for long term guests! I have stayed in many hotels across the country and this small personal hotel has a HEART and I rate it a 5 Star Gem!

Room tip: Quieter rooms free of kids on third floor, best rooms away from freeway

Family stayed here over the Thanksgiving holiday. Some of the lights did not work in room.

When I told Michael the manager on duty, he jumped right on it & had issues fixed.

Upon leaving on our 3rd day, Michael gave us a parting gift. Michael & staff were great. We will definitely stay here again.

Thank you Michael for a great stay. Hope you get a day off soon.

We stopped here as we were driving through Missouri. This hotel was clean, had a very good check in, and a good breakfast in the morning. The bathroom and bed were comfortable and very clean. I would stay here again.

Stayed solo for one night. Got a queen bed room...cute, small, but enough room for just me. There was a shelf above the air conditioning unit which I thought was very convenient and offered more counter space. They have complimentary breakfast but I was not awake for it. The dining area looked nice and clean.

You can tell hotel is freshly remodeled. Everything is our room was very nice and in great condition. The kids swam for a few hours while we relaxed pool side. We were only in town for a night during our trip, but would have been happy if we had spent more nights here. Breakfast was hot and filling.
