Owner description: Featuring 24 Veteran entertainers, Clay Cooper's Country Express gives you high energy live music, singing, dancing, and hysterical comedy - from George Jones to Hunter Hayes and from the Doobie Brothers to Bruno Mars! Don't miss New York's number one cowboy, trick roper, and gun-slinger, Johnny Lonestar; amazing dancers led by Clay's multi-talented wife, Tina Cooper; a seven-piece band; Branson's funnier than funny comedian, Matt Gumm; rising star Colt Cooper; and "Oklahoma's little sweetheart" Ezrah Noelle! Their unbelievable talent, hysterical comedy, and down-home personality bring our guests back time and time again. This cast goes all out, performing country, rock n roll, gospel and more! We definitely have something for everyone! Located in the Clay Cooper Theatre on Hwy 76 across from The Titanic Museum. Clay Cooper has been performing for Branson audiences since the age of 16, originally coming to Branson to perform with a kid's band known as the Texas Goldminors. Clay loved singing and playing bass, and loved meeting new people. What better place to do it than Branson! He continued performing in several Branson shows and now celebrates his 28th season performing. Clay hangs out after every show, greeting the audience and meeting new fans! In November and December, Clay Cooper's Country Express features an Ozark Mountain Christmas Celebration that has become a "MUST SEE" in Branson. The Clay-Goods Jambor-Eve: Celebrate New Year's Eve with Clay Cooper's Country Express and The Haygoods for a family-friendly, unforgettable, Blowout Party! Hors d'oeuvres and a cash bar will be available for those who might be interested. There will be party favors for everyone, and a MASSIVE balloon drop happens at the stroke of midnight! This year, Clay Cooper and his talented cast of 24 singers, dancers and musicians will be joined by the Haygoods for a memorable NEW YEARS EVE experience!

“What a night of entertainment!”
Reviewed 23 April 2012

Clay Cooper is a fantastic entertainer, and his show (I would almost call it a variety show) was so enjoyable. His interaction with the audience was amazing (glad I was not one of the chosen to be on stage or in the limelight). The musicians in his band, the dancers, and everyone else involved made it a fantastic 2+ hours of entertainment. Loved the patriotic tribute and the gospel music. Also loved the tributes to Hank Williams, Jr., Willie, the Jackson 5, and everyone else. Would definitely plan to see Clay next time we are in Branson. Can't say enough about the band!

“High Energy”

Here is the Garth Brooks of Branson. Clay and Tina run a tight ship and do an outstanding job. The non-stop high enegry show will have you tapping your toes.

Fantastic dance show! As I watched the performers I kept thinking "My gosh, no wonder these people stay so thin! then the guy talked to the audience and told us they can eat ANYTHING they want!

“An Entertaining Show of Music and Comedy”
Reviewed 20 April 2012

Clay Cooper's Country Music Express is a show that anyone can walk into and will be able to enjoy. Besides being a great singer, Clay Cooper is also an entertaining person and interacts with the audience, talking to them during the show. I'm not a fan of country music, but this was a show I was able to enjoy thanks to comedian Matt Gumm and the Buckets & Boards duo. Gumm is one of Branson's best comedians who is able to entertain viewers of any age. Unlike a lot of shows in Branson, Gumm updated his comedy from last year so there is something new every time you go there. The Buckets and Boards duo are also entertaining by performing music from objects that you wouldn't think would work. For me, the highlight of the show was a Saturday Night Live type sketch with one year a Jeopardy parody and another a dating show parody. Unlike a lot of Branson shows where the planned audience is senior citizens, this is a show for people of all ages. Clay Cooper is a great show for anyone, even if you are not a fan of country music.
