Saved about $20 by staying here...of course no breakfast offered...but we ate yogurt and granola bars we brought, and had coffee from the office. Okay for one breakfast. (Went by iHop but there was no parking left!) Had mixed feelings about this establishment. First room they gave us was on the building that the office is not in, and located on the top (third) floor and on the southwest side with the sun beating on it (heat index over 100*). The room was HOT even though the a/c was on. After turning the a/c on max cold and max fan and waiting about an hour and it was still hot (uncomfortable)...so went to office. They gave us a room on the other side of the hallway. The a/c in that room was like an iceberg...WONDERFUL! Also the room was an upgrade with no additional fee...so that made us happy that the manager wanted the customer to be satisfied. The perks about the upgrade room was no yellow stains on the ceiling, no stains on the carpeting, two sinks and countertops - one inside the bathroom and one outside. Besides the shower/tub combo in the bathroom there was a jaccuzi tub in the main part of the room. We did not use it. Both rooms were clean...esp the bathrooms - nice. Towels and water pressure were adequate. Pleased that the sink faucets didn't have water restrictors on them like in some Motel 6. Room was very soundproof. Bed was firm but fine, and the pillows and linens were all fine. The upgraded room had a flatscreen tv, whereas the standard room had an old-style tube tv. Main irritant was that the door into the building was missing its crash bar and most of the time was hanging wide open as no way to latch it, so any one could walk right in...and the heat poured in.

There are two buildings to this establishment...one has an outdoor pool and the other an indoor pool. We did not use or even look at either of them...but since the motel was at a 'no vacancy' status...there were plenty of wet children in the hallways and elevator. Yes, there is an elevator in the three story building we stayed in...that is a plus, as some hotels in Branson lack elevators.

The free Wifi worked well in both rooms.

Would we stay here again? If we desired inexpensive accommodations and for one night...yes, we would.

Room Tip: If the weather is hot, avoid getting a room on the south/west side of the building.

My fiancé and I went to Branson over Christmas season. We booked previously booked with a pet friendly hotel online, and when we showed up to that location they were closed for remodeling. We brought our dog because of the cheap fee with this hotel. We called the online company to see if they could find us another hotel around the same price, and expected quality. We ended up at Motel 6, which was okay. Pool was closed the whole weekend, pet friendly room was...pet friendly, it was an out dated room but it was clean. After being in Branson for over 3 hours, and just getting into our hotel late at night they put us in a freezing cold room, rather than an already heated room. Customer Service, and rooms could of been better but over all it was an okay stay. I would recommend this room if you don't want to spend much money, and you're okay with an out dated room, and pet friendly.

When we arrived and checked in and went to our room the first thing we seen was the bed's were not made and the sheets had not been changed. We stayed 5 days and our room was never cleaned and our beds were never changed or made. We had to make our on bed every day, one day we came in and there was some towels in a bag hanging on the door handle. I thought that's why you took a vacation was not to have to make you own bed and have someone else take care of it. We will find a different motel on our next trip. Also this motel was not real easy to find with no big lights up on the main road.

The room was well maintained, late night registrations requires a phone call. Not bad, but nothing phenomenal. The rooms begins very hot, but have no fear the AC does in fact work and it doesn't take too long to get down to a comfortable temperature. Best advice is to check in, turn it on, leave for a few hours and see the local area.

Great price, clean room, comfy bed and wonderful, friendly and helpful staff made our stay at this place a real pleasure! We arrived late.. Not a problem, they had us all set and in a room very quickly! Any time we needed anything or had a question they were quick to help! We will most surely stay at this place again!

First, I would like to thank the staff on site for fixing a reservation mistake early on. Without that change, this trip would never have happened. So we pulled into Motel 6 Branson around 7:00 after a last minute reservation change that morning. We had stayed here before a time or two, so we knew where the place was (it's on a side street off of the Yellow Route and kind of hard to see unless you know where you are looking.

Getting into our room, the room was by and large clean with no major issues. There weren't any ashtrays or toilet paper, but a quick run down to the office fixed that. The A/C ran nicely and the place was generally quiet (of course, it was rather empty that day too). We took the kids to the indoor pool, which is a nice perk, after we got settled in and spent the evening at the pool.

After swimming, we called it a night and tried to get some sleep. The beds, while decent, are not the most comofortable things on the planet. Granted, you are paying ~$50 where everyone else pays ~$100, so it's expected. Waking up the next morning, we gathered our stuff and packed up ready to go. Checkout is a breeze -- nothing complicated.

In the end, we will stay here again when we travel to Branson on a budget.
