The Savannah House in Branson sits on a hill with a beautiful peaceful view. It is very clean. The staff is great and very helpful. A hot breakfast is served and each evening they serve peach and blackberry cobbler and ice cream. The peach cobbler is very tastey but the blackberry is wonderful!

We come to Branson several times every year. We always stay at Savannah House if we can. It is comfortable, clean and a great value. The front desk people are friendly, helpful and welcoming. We love the location to other things without being directly on the strip with that traffic. I would highly recommend it as a family location.

I am such a fanatic about clean hotel rooms and this one easily passed my inspection! After cleanliness I look for comfort. Our king room had a leather love seat and a leather over-sized chair with a coffee table. The bed was perfect. So it passed my comfort requirement. I liked that it wasn't on the main strip and we were able to take alternate routes to restaurants and theaters and stay out of the pokey traffic. Buffet breakfast was adequate - the Krispy Creme donuts were a plus. Cobbler, ice cream and cookies are available from 9-11 each night with sugar free treats available upon request which is a very thoughtful touch since so many Branson visitors are senior citizens who might also be diabetic. The front desk was very accomodating when I didn't like the first room because it was on the ground level and I like to keep my drapes open. They found us a room on the 4th floor with no grumbling. I would stay here again without question.

Room Tip: Ask or look at the room before accepting so that it will match your needs. The first room we saw had an easy chair and a small table with two chairs which would be good if you were working on your computer a lot. We like to read so we selected a room with a sofa and easy chair. Both were king rooms so I'm not sure if the desk even knows which rooms have which amenities so you might just have to look first.

The hotel was clean and comfortable. We enjoyed our stay there and would stay again if ever in the area. However, when we checked in the front desk clerk had the personality of a door knob and acted like he'd rather be fishing. When we checked out, the clerk (different person) was on the phone the whole time and didn't say one word to us.
Breakfast wasn't great but it was alright. My husband usually will absolutely NOT eat continental breakfasts, but we ate there every morning because they had biscuits and gravy which most continental breakfasts don't offer and it's about the only thing he'll eat (out of donuts and waffles, etc.)
The location of the hotel was nice. It was not on the main highway and pretty much by itself, so there wasn't a lot of activity.
The price was very right.
