We booked the Branson Towers for a two-day anniversary trip in February, just after Valentine's Day. It has a very impressive three-story lobby, with a beautiful staircase criss-crossing up to the second and third floors. Our room was on the third. We're glad the hotel has an elevator because having to hoof it up two flights several times a day would've made for a less enjoyable stay.
The room with two queen beds was large and clean and offered a mini-fridge and microwave. Though the floor around the entryway creaked, everything was in good repair. The only thing I'd wished the room had was an easy chair of some kind instead of a single desk chair.
A great feature of the hotel is a large heated indoor pool housed in a standalone building in the courtyard surrounded by the hotel rooms. It was clean, well-maintained, and comfortable, even for mid-February. A nice-sized whirlpool was also available.
The free breakfast was just OK. Scrambled egg patties, sausage patties, premade French toast, biscuits and gravy, and make-your-own pancakes or waffles were the main offerings. Cold cereals, bagels, and bread for toast were also available.
Since this was off-season, the room rate was about $55 a night for the double-queen (not including taxes). The rate for that room jumps to $93 a night at the height of their season in July -- probably a bit pricier than it's worth.More
