When perusing the list of amenities advertised for the property it almost looked too good to be true, but if anything the reality turned out to be even better than the expectation. Fantastic location and wonderful facilities.
It would have been easy to just relax and unwind by the pool and never venture out, but we did force ourselves to explore the area once or twice. Just up the mountain to Mijas, where we enjoyed a horse-drawn carfriage trip around this quaint and beautiful village. Or just down the mountain to the larger town of Fuengirola for supermarket shopping. We also had the most wonderful dinner here one night in an (Italian!) restuarant with an internal open courtyard and a resident singer seranading the diners. The younger members of our party ventured further down the coast for a bit of celebrity spotting at Marbella.
We originally planned to hire a 7 seater car but it was actually considerably cheaper to rent 2 smaller cars and this actually worked very well as the youngsters and the the old fogies were able to go off in different directions from time to time.
In summary, a lovely holiday villa in a great location - highly recommended.More
