Unfortunately there are not a lot of options for lodging in this town. We spent two nights while attending a high school class reunion and will not return. When we checked in we found that the air conditioner in our room blew only hot air, and to their credit the staff moved us to another room. The room itself was comfortable enough, but had been prepared for only one guest, with only one washcloth and towels for one. The front desk provided more towels at our request.
When we awoke (at 6:00 AM-we had a 7:30 start to the day) after our first night the toilet overflowed after one flush. We called the desk and were told that there was no plunger available and that the problem could not be addressed until management and housekeeping arrived at 8:00. We were able to get enough towels from the front desk to cover the wet floor, but had to shower under those conditions, with the world's smallest bars of soap.
Fortunately breakfast was provided at the school for both mornings of our stay so we did not need to avail ourselves of the minimal offering provided in the motel lobby.
A classmate staying at the same motel told us that the bathroom light did not work and after repeated calls to the desk it was not fixed during his stay.

This facility was recommended by the local Chamber of Commerce as the best option in town.
If you are traveling though this region and need a basic overnight accommodation you will undoubtedly do better traveling a few miles east or west on I-70.More
