Stayed here for a family get together and I was impressed with all aspects of this hotel. Large rooms, clean, good breakfast & a friendly staff. The hotel is also pretty new which is a plus. And it right behind the best eatery in Hannibal (Fiddlestiks).

We booked a Saturday night stay at the Quality Inn & Suites for a weekend swim meet. I don't think the hotel is very old, for it seemed very new. The front desk staff was very nice, especially given the fact that the hotel was swarming with kids from the swim meet. The rooms were very big and spacious, and we had plenty of room for a family of 5 in a double Queen room. The beds were comfortable and had plenty of pillows. The pillows were small, but there were 4 on each bed, which made it even better. I got a very good night sleep, which is unusual for a hotel (for me).

The morning brought a long hot shower, with lots of hot water. I asked the cleaning staff for extra towels, and they were nice about it, and forked over the towels. The breakfast was typical hotel fare. Scrambled eggs, sausage, gravy and waffles. It was fairly usual, as hotel breakfast areas go. Coffee was weak, but all coffee is weak to me (except my own).

If you plan to stay in Hannibal, MO in February, ask if it is during the Tom and Beck swim meet. That is what brought us into town, and this hotel, as well as ALL in town are usually sold out. Which means, there are 3000 kids running up and down the halls, stairs and elevators. And filling the pool. BUT - I have to say, they were all pretty quite by 1000 pm. If you go to bed earlier than that, don't come to town that weekend! HA!

Overall, nice stay...no surprises...

Chose this hotel since it was listed as pet friendly. Since I made reservation late the only availability was a suite, which I found to be a great deal for the price. Clean, comfortable accomodations and a great free breakfast to boot. A good place for an extended stay when you want to visit all the local sites. Fiddlesticks restaurant next door provides excellent food at reasonable prices. Definitely would recommend this hotel for your Hannibal stays.
