Les Restanques is about a 10 min, very easy, walk to the centre of Moustieres Sainte Marie. We are about to end a 7 night stay here as a base for seeing and experiencing the area. We had Room 8, ground floor, very spacious, huge bathroom, little seating area (each room on the ground floor has this) with a dappled shade from a vine covered awning. It couldn’t be more lovely. Well the mattress is a little hard for us but apart from that its perfect. There’s air con which is a must in Provence in the Summer. The pool isn’t for lengths - more for dipping into when you get too hot. Breakfast is a leisurely affair with everything you could want - home made jams, local honey, goats cheese, meats, eggs, and more. Everything is spotlessly clean. Easy drive to the Verdon Gorge (we did it in both directions and you see different things each time), the Lac San Croix (pedallo/kayak up the gorge), pick up an ebike just below the hotel to see the area by bike is well worth it to get off the tourist trail and see the quieter back areas. Staff at the hotel are really friendly. its a quiet spot which we found so relaxing. Moustiers is a fantastic little Beaux Village.

Room tip: I’d pick a ground floor one for the greenery seating area outside each one. The upper level doesn’t have that.

Les Restanques
Very disappointing.
The hotel is situated about 10 minutes’ walk from the centre of the most beautiful Moustiers Ste Marie,
This is a bit like a motel, our room had direct access to the car park.
Good AC, bad internet connection, it kept cutting out.
Large room with no character. No coffee/tea facilities in the room.
Bathroom with shower gel, shampoo and two plastic cups. That’s it!
The swimming pool was on the small size, not really suitable for swimming lengths but very refreshing for a dip in the hot sun.
Breakfast stops at 9.30!!!
Very close to a busy and noisy road, Ask for a quiet room.
No night staff.

Just spent five nights in this lovely hotel. The breakfast is delicious with lots of home made produce including amazing apricot jam. The owners and staff are incredibly helpful and friendly. They have a lovely bar that is open until 9pm and they sell a selection of home made deserts. Would recommend the snack bar opposite at the campsite for salads, steak and chips or pizza for dinner and then have desert and drinks on the terrace at the hotel. They also do a laundry service which is most helpful. Lovely little pool and good locked bike shed. Will definitely be coming again.

Delightful little hotel in a great location. The rooms are spotless and comfortable and very reasonably priced. We had an easy 10 minute walk right into the village from here. Lots of restaurants to choose from.

Room tip: Downstairs room looking onto the patio was lovely for us.

The hotel is just a short walk from the village centre. Rooms are clean and a good size with everything you need. The pool is very nice and the breakfasts are good. Easy parking. Helpful staff. Overall very good value and would stay again.
