I didn't book this hotel myself, it was part of an organised tour. I only stayed here for 2 nights and that was quite enough. The general atmosphere in the hotel just felt off. The elevators were so small, I often did not feel comfortable when more people entered. The heating in my room was broken - it was switched on constantly with no way of switchting it off, making it so blazing hot in my room that I left the window open at night, even though it was freezing outside. I later heard my neighbour say that the heating in her room did not work at all, so she'd been very cold.
On the way to the dining area, you pass a bowling alley and .. a strip club. Especially the strip club made the hotel feel rather sleazy. Our tour also included dinner at the hotel twice. I'm not sure if it was due to our tour guides booking the cheapest available option, but the food was the worst I had during my entire trip. It was bland, either overcooked or dry and just generally not recommended. Take a cab into town and grab some dinner there.
Overall, it wasn't the worst hotel I've ever stayed at, but if I ever happen to find myself in Vladimir again, I won't be staying here again.More
