Exceptional Boutique Hotel

5.0 of 5 bubblesReviewed Jan 12, 2025
My daughter and I stayed for 5 nights at beautiful Anjali Casa Divina. Everything was exceptional. It is a beautiful, peaceful oasis, overlooking the ocean and only a short 5 minute walk to town. This small luxury boutique hotel is clean, with high quality linens and towels. There are yoga classes in the morning, along with a nice continental breakfast. We loved the infinity pool and the hot tub that overlook the ocean. Rafael, the manager, goes above and beyond to make sure your stay is perfect. He arranged reliable transportation to and from the airport and is available to answer any question you might have. We had an exceptional stay and cannot wait to return.

Gorgeous hotel. The vibes were just amazing right from the start. Rafael made us feel so at home and taken care of. The views from the pool and the yoga deck are unmatched. One of the best views in the world. The hotel is small/intimate. Mostly couples. Only complaint was: If you get a room on the ground floor on the pool deck you will either have no privacy or no natural light. There were people eating breakfast 2 feet away from our front door. We basically needed to keep the blackout shades pulled the entire time. Not too big of a deal to us and we did get the cheapest room available. I’m sure the upper level rooms would be way more private. Overall I would come back 100%. Amazing little hotel in Sayulita!!

Room tip: Walking distance to everything in town.

Our stay was perfect! From the moment I booked, Rafael was in touch and arranged our transportation. He made sure that we had everything we needed. The breakfasts were just the perfect amount of food - yogurt, fresh fruit, hard boiled eggs, pastries, coffee..
We rented a golf cart one day and it was easy as could be. Rafael made the arrangements - the cart was delivered and picked up the following day.
We were able to walk easily to town and the beach. We did an Airbnb experience our first day and learned about and tasted from some of the local restaurants. It was a great trip. I’d return to Anjali!!

We ended our 2 week vacation in Mexico here at Anjali. And what an ending it was. From the minute that Vanessa opened the doors and welcomed us in.. I was captured by her hospitality and the the view of the ocean amidst the beautiful, lush green grounds… the building is modern with beautiful touches of local art… and then softened by the lush greenery and tropical flowers go sowing everywhere.
We stayed in the penthouse unit that is a beautiful space.. our own jacuzzi overlooking the pool, ocean and the vibrant town of Sayulita. It was well equipped from a full kitchen, to towels, soap, shampooo…The pool! I pretty much stayed in that pool most of the time. Loved the stocked bar at the poolside bar… beer, waters, soda, juice… you just help yourself and write down what you got….and pay your tab at the end of your stay. The healthy breakfast was a welcome change from the daily rich food we ate… the resort is about a 5ish minute walk to the center of town… up and down and hill and stairs that dumps you right at the heart of Sayulita. It was easy to go down into town for lunch and dinner…
The manager arranged for a private massage for our family… the therapists came to fye resort and set up the beds on the yoga studio that has a full view of the ocean… what an amazing experience for 50$/person/hour… and there is also an in-house yoga instructor that held classes in the morning..this resort is small enough to not feel crowded..
And the most important thing was the people running it.. what service… from in person and through WhatsApp! They were there to assist but still made you feel
That you are left alone…. They take care of this place with so much pride and love.
I can’t wait to return. It was truly a magical place.. restful, zen, rejuvenating… the place and the people…
See you back soon!

An absolutely stunning small luxury boutique hotel only a couple of minutes walk from the main Sayulita town (down/up an easy set of steps to cut off the road). We loved our room (we had Lavanda - an upstairs room that offered more privacy than the downstairs rooms where you can’t have your curtains open since all the guests relax in front of the rooms where the pool is) and the pool. We spent most days relaxing by the pool since it was so luxurious and has a great breeze since it’s on a hill. The breakfast is delicious, fresh fruit, yoghurt, nuts, granola, pastries, juice etc. The only downside to the trip was the noise from the renovation of the yoga studio. They were painting this for two days whilst we were there - so there was paint being scrapped off, fumes from paint near our room, noisy ladders clattering around, hoovering up the mess. When they suggest to not use music speakers to envoke an experience of calm and tranquility - having the renovation noise wasn’t really appreciated. We did not know about the renovation prior to arrival and some advance warning would have been nice since you couldn’t do any yoga during that time. It was just a grin and bear it situation. Would we stay again - absolutely! It’s amazing. The views are insane.

Room tip: If you want privacy, choose a room either upstairs or the garden view rooms.
