This is a no frills beach bar/restaurant. It is right near the beach and there's plenty of shade with the numerous umbrellas. If you happen to get a table near the edge with sun, they will quickly put up an umbrella for you - shade everywhere.

We stopped here twice for drinks and a snack. The first time, we had walked around town for souvenirs, saw this place and sat down to take a break. We ordered some drinks and beer and it promptly come out. While we were enjoying our drinks, many vendors walked by trying to sell. At first, we didn't want to be bothered, but we soon realized, we were seeing most of the same stuff that we saw around town. So we soon started talking to the vendors and completed most of or shopping right there while we sipped on drinks and snacked on a chicken quesadilla. Our favorite was the guy selling grilled shrimp on a stick. The restaurant did not care that we bought food from the vendor, which is great.

Overall, this place is a nice place to relax, enjoy the beach and have some drinks. Plus, the bathrooms are clean!

Good food, good location. However the owner/management allows street vendors to solicit you while trying to enjoy the atmosphere while you eat. So I head you this warning if you can enjoy make sure you watch your belongings and table I had my wallet stolen while I was there. I will make sure not to ever visit here again.

We went to Sayulita and found it to be very busy, very dusty and thank goodness we made it to the beach and found Captain Pablo's. It was great to sit on the sand, enjoy a great margarita and some very good nachos.

Right on the beach, lots of shady palapas, cold cervesa and huge drinks. Food is okay, shrimp salad was so big others helped me finish it.

Easy to get a table at this hopping taco spot right on the beach. The food was decent, although not memorable, the drinks were gargantuan, and the staff friendly. Super slow service, but we found that was normal in Mexico, forcing us to slow our American selves down. Not a bad thing at all!
