“THE place to be on First Fridays!”
Review of The Crossroads

The revitalization of this area of Kansas City in the past decade or so has been brilliant. It is a great place to explore anytime, but a fabulous place to be on First Fridays . . . art, shopping, and restaurants.

Loved the set up. Had a great time! I went on a beautiful night and love the amphitheater set up for such a small venue.

We saw OAR in September and I absolutely LOVED it! This was my first time at Crossroads and it was a great show. I love that this place is a much smaller venue than most. Wear comfy shoes because there is not a lot of seating and the ground is mulch. We did the VIP tickets and never had to wait in line for the bar :-).

This was our first time at this venue and we will be looking to see who is playing there for another visit. There was good information on the website about seating(and standing), food and drink availability and parking. We got our tickets online, got there just after the gates opened, and found a spot on the fence center stage. The VIP section was right in front of us and they could park closer so that might be worth the extra $ but we had an amazing evening. The beer was cold and the jalapeno poppers were hot. The wood chips make it easier to stand if you see a show where they dont allow lawn chairs and blankets

The Crossroads district in just off downtown Kansas City, Missouri is loaded with galleries, exhibits and boutique restaurants. For those looking for high end dining, there are several very nice, popular venues on the south end, bordering the railyards. The area has become hughly popular with locals and weekends are packed.
