This Austrian style restaurant is elegant, subdued, and classy. The dishes are delicious and beautifully presented. It is nice to have a delightful taste of Austria in downtown Kansas City! For today's visit, we had baked mushrooms as an appetizer. The small plate was delicious. For the main course, I had the sauerbraten; it was tasty but a bit on the tough side. My wife had the goulash, and she loved it. My son had the pork schnitzel and enjoyed it. The soft white bread that was served with the meal was a bit "Americanized," since this type of bread is not really favored in Austria or Germany. The background music was a soothing mix of light jazz pieces rather than Austrian folk songs. The waitress was very pleasant and checked on us often. In conclusion, this is a lovely establishment the serves delightful Austrian food. Guten Apetit!
