Like a few other reviewers mentioned, I stayed here because of the convenience to Kaufmann Field, just a 10 - 15 minute walk (depending on how long it takes for traffic to stop to let you cross the street) and if you take the long way to the stadium's entrance. I used Lyft to get there, and my check-in was quick an easy, but it was around 9:30 at night. My room was very nice, the bed was super comfortable, and my bathroom was very modern and clean (I tried to pay extra attention after some of the reviews I read beforehand). There is a restaurant onsite, but I didn't try it (for no other reason than the timing didn't work, and I was feeling cheap - it's hard to beat the Taco Bell dollar menu across the way). The staff was friendly, especially on the check out. I was exhausted, but the woman at the front desk had enough energy for both of us.
As for getting to the stadiums, you have to cross a fairly busy street, and where the crosswalk is, there is no light, just a pedestrian crossing sign which, is you know, not always followed. I was told the police are there after the games to help with traffic, but what if you leave early, like I did? You are on your own. That's really not the fault of the hotel, but it's worth noting.More
