The gift shop is the best at the Botanical Garden. We love the Climatorium, and there's always something for every age group. We had people from age 3 to age 83 in our group, and it was a great multi-generational place to visit.

Came to St. Louis with my family (kids 9 and 11) for the CIty Museum, but left town thinking that the Botanical Gardens were even better. All I can say is wow. Would have been even better if the kids area was open, but still more than enough to keep you busy and interested for hours. Cant wait to go back when the roses are in bloom.

Visited this past Saturday. Redbuds, dogwoods and spring perennials in bloom and the sweet smell of springtime in the air. If your allergies can take it, it's a delightful place to spend an afternoon and a bargain at only $8 ($4 for St. Louisans).

The Missouri Botanical gardens are beautiful. Because of the unseasonable weather this winter, many of the plants that would ordinarily bloom in April and May were already in full display. The garden is a sensory wonder with lots of interesting scenery as well as fragrance throughout. My particular favorite are the Japanese Gardens.

We were nicely surprised by the restaurant inside the gardens. We sat outside on a beautiful spring day and enjoyed a light and flavorful quiche and an interesting fresh salad. It was reasonably priced and had a variety of selections made from local products. Loved it!
