We happened upon this place after searching on TripAdvisor. The reviews were great so we thought we'd give it a try. It reminded us of citizen M in London, which we loved - funky, modern and lots of fun. And I have to say, it definitely lived up to its reputation! It was quiet and clean. The rooftop bar was lovely and provided a great view of St Louis. The bed is very comfortable and the curtains do a good job of blocking light. We didn't hear much commotion in the hallway, either. We ordered room service and the food was great. We usually use Hotwire when we're breezing through a town but next time we're in St Louis we will definitely stay here again!

But really overpriced. Few people were in the place but no discounts to be found anywhere. They need to offer some specials to attract more people. I think we would stay somewhere else other than here when attending a concert in this location. So there you have it.

Moonrise offers special and promotions and are typically found on the hotel’s website. Unfortunately we do have some nights in which discounts are not offered for a variety of reasons, supply and demand in the city and the area are what determines our rates.

Actually was in April 2014 - This hotel is small and quaint but very modern and located nearby several good local restaurants in the Delmar Loop area of St Louis - not close to downtown or any chain restaurants. We stayed here when we ran the GO! St Louis marathon. We also went to the St Louis Cardinals opening day (baseball) and saw "Garbage" perform at the Pageant theater, right down the street from the hotel!

You should come back and visit since it has been a couple of years! Along with the Pageant another new music venue just opened, Delmar Hall which holds up to 750 people whereas the Pageant holds up to 2300. Delmar Hall is located beside the Pageant so both about 500 steps from the front door. Very kind of you to share you experience with us.

We would love to see you soon.

Nice location and the staff is beyond helpful and nice. The parking left a bit to be desired, but it's not really a big deal. They seem super pet friendly which is totally awesome. Too was very well appointed, awesome shower, and super comfy bed!!!!!

It sounds like you enjoyed your stay at Moonrise! The valet attendants are always willing to assist with parking whether it be offering valet service or assisting in finding complimentary public parking should you need them in the future. I’m glad you enjoyed the amenities our guest rooms offer!

This hotel is right on the Delmar Loop, with easy walking to restaurants, the Wash U campus, and the large city park nearby. We've stayed here once before and found the staff to be friendly and accommodating. Only wish would be a bathroom door that firmly closes versus the sliding door style that seems to be popular in some newer hotels/remodels. Valet parking was convenient for an extra fee ($17?). Not luxury accommodations but "just right" in a lot of ways.

We appreciate you returning for your second visit to Moonrise. The valet price is $17.00 per night and offers unlimited in and our privileges. Thank you for your kind review!
