We stayed here for one night to watch a Cards game. The staff was friendly, and accommodating. The hotel is in need of some updates. After reading the reviews I inspected my room thoroughly. The bed was clean. The room was ok. There were some stains on the carpet, and scuffs on the walls. Check in went well, but the hotel didn’t seem busy at all. As a whole the hotel just needs a little more attention to detail. All together an ok stay. Just don’t pay too much, or have outrageous expectations. Not the best, but not the worst place. I would probably stay here again.

I stayed 4 nights on a business trip and the staff were very accommodating. The food they catered was excellent. The location was great. It was an easy walk to many locations or a cheap Uber. The rooms were older because the hotel is about to be renovated with all new rooms. Any housekeeping issues they fixed immediately. The rooms were huge with refrigerators, and a sink. Our conference room had a nice view of the arch.

Room had strong smell,lot of stains in carpet, I saw a "pet door tag"; I assumed it was due to past guests with pets (although reception said it was a "non-pet" room). Was able to change it, new room was ok; sheets seemed to have been changed, but had suspicious stains; the AC/Heater air passage above the sink had no cover - it was very noisy when ON and right beside the bed. It was too late in the evening to change rooms again, so I reported the next morning to the receptionist - she said would send someone to check those - when I came back later, everything was the same and no note about what had been done.
Hotel seems to be in financial trouble - carpets and wallpapers teared along the halls, I overheard receptionist saying the computer at the business center wasn't working, the front moving door had a sign "not working".. Poor experience for the price.

My family and I reserved this hotel through Priceline and I was afraid to set my things on the carpet when we walked in. The carpet was stained and dirty, the bathroom had stains on the floor and ceiling, the bedsheets had dirt and hair under the comforter, there were spots on the mirrors, the telephone was disgusting and didn’t even work, and the wall paper was stained and peeling off the walls. The staff did not explain that we needed our parking tickets stamped and we were charged from the hotel AND at the gate. The hotel said they would refund us the charge at the gate but this could have been easily avoided had the staff mentioned it when explaining about parking. I will never be back and I do not recommend it to you!

Was advertised as a “3 1/2 Star” hotel......well it’s far below that. Checked in last night and had asked at booking for two queen beds and the lady at the counter (who was very nice) said none was available and we would be getting a room with a pull out. Luckily it was late and there was obviously no point in arguing it as she adamantly said there were none available. Why make a reservation then?

The Rooms are decent size but seriously outdated and dirty. Stained carpets, curtains (how does that happen?), and towels. Pull out and bed was average. Tag on bed was 2009 so it was well broke in. Bathroom is very small, outdated, and very dirty (see pics). Oddest thing was there was a maybe 10x10 square door like thing directly over the bed that when the lights where off you could see light around it. Who knows what is up there peeking or lurking.....we were too tired to care.

Hallway carpets stained and doors dirty....parking is typical STL expense. Decent lobby. Bar was full of people with upbeat music and so hot you couldn’t breath....but nice staff and attentive. There are so many choices in STL I would run from this one.
