This is not my favorite place in St. Louisto stay. Yes, it has one of the best views of the arch, but the rooms are dated. Our air conditioner was not working and the housekeeping never came in to freshen our beds. It is a good place for people who are on a budget. Also, you have to park in a garage which can be a pain.

Our experience was nice. The interior was a little dated but clean and well maintained. The location was great for walking to the ball game and down to the arch. Check in was backed up, usually has to do with when you show up. 2 to 4 is almost always slammed. The staff was great and helpful. The valet service was great but a little pricey but easily balanced out if you consider driving and parking for any events you might go to. MARCUS! at the valet was awesome helped me find a luggage cart was very professional and polite. As well he assisted me with a few other request while being very busy at the time. Thanks Marcus!

I love this place. Cannot best it for the price. Yes, it’s an older hotel and could use a little paint here and there, but the room was clean and huge, the staff was super friendly, and the hotel is fantastically old-school. Big long bar and lounge in the lobby, right out of The Shining, rooftop pool with a fantastic view. You could stay across the street at the Hilton for 3X the price, but why would you?

The nice girl at the front desk gave me a free upgrade during check in. She was very professional and she could remember my last name a few hours later when I walked in/out the hotel. The room is amazing and it could see the whole St. Louis Arch from my window. I took a lot of pictures from the room.

To start, Check in took over an hour, hotel very dated, needs major renovation and upgrades. Room very dirty, shower had mildew and shower head pipe had a hole around it and you could see inside the wall, was afraid it was going to break off, bathroom very tiny and cluttered. The toilet paper holder hit the toilet seat when lifting it, terrible construction. Wasn't enough tissues, toilet paper, pillows, coffee nor towels. Took forever to get these items when requesting as well. No ice bucket for ice machine fillup. It was as if the room was not ready for us upon arrival, and we checked in hours after check in time started. We were only there for 2 nights so we dealt with it but we would never stay there again.
