We made reservations through hotels.com. We get to the hotel and they have no record of our reservation. They said we would have to wait that they were waiting on an email from hotels.com. We waited 30 minutes and I walked back up to the desk to ask if they had heard anything. Would they still did not have a reservation on file. We called hotels.com and they called to resolve the matter with the manager. The manager put Hotels.com supervisor on hold. After being on hold for 20 minutes hotels.com just quit waiting and put us up in another hotel. The staff at the front desk never offered an apology to me or my wife or anything that it happened. They just want to blame everyone else for the problems of them not having enough rooms. We had a couple sitting next to us that put in for reservations Earlier that day. They were having problems getting in their hotel room also. They said
they had no reservations under that name. They said there longer than we did and did actually get a room. At the end of me leaving the hotel another lady showed up another person had the same reservation problems through hotels.com. They were very rude to her also.

Thank you for taking the time to let us know your experience. I have passed this along to the General Manager and Assistant Manager and they have discussed this with our pm supervisors that were on duty. We appreciate the information to have shared.

We stayed here while we our son had surgery at the children's hospital. The hotel is easy to get to and has plenty of parking. It was also easy to get from the hotel to the hospital. Our room was clean and spacious. The only downside was the cost. It wasn't over priced but not cheap either. For the convenience and location it was worth it, however.

Recently had the opportunity to stay multiple nights two different times due to family medical adventures. Super friendly staff - nice and clean and classy. Rooms very comfortable and quiet - very clean. Wonderful breakfast in the morning and centrally located to the Barnes Hospital operations.

Hello and thank you for the comments we do appreciate it. We ARE SO VERY close the the various hospitals, Universities, St. Louis Attractions, museums, Forest Park, wedding venues and over 6 blocks of restaurants and shops. We hope you will stay with us again and get to skip the medical adventure and and instead get to enjoy a different adventure. There are many fun things there are to do in close by. Have a safe trip home and fantastic weekend.

We needed a place to stay in St. Louis on our way from Des Moines to Memphis. We chose the Parkway Hotel because it is located in the Central West End of St. Louis, an area we wanted to explore. The hotel is clean and quiet. It does have somewhat of an institutional feel to it. Our room reminded me of a hospital room for some reason. The workout facility on the seventh floor is well equipped and clean. No swimming pool. The free breakfast in the lobby is a disappointment. Just bread, cereal and fruit. No microwave for the packaged oatmeal. Juice machine was out of orange juice. There are lots of interesting dining choices and taverns nearby. Safety tip - water from the shower head comes out at a really high pressure. Protect your sensitive body parts or you could have a painful shower experience!

Hello and thank you for the feedback. The Parkway Hotel had a full renovation in 2017 and we have been receiving many positive comments. Our color tones are shades of blues, soft gray, and cream. Our furnishings have a very sleek and modern look and each King room has a twin sleeper sofa. Our fitness center also has all new equipment with rubber flooring. We will be bringing back our Full Hot Breakfast buffet, BACK BY POPULAR DEMAND!
Our location as you mentioned does have many dining choices, everything from that fast slice of pizza, a sub, sushi, burgers and so much more. We are also less than one mile from IKEA, Whole Foods, Forest Park, museums, theaters and several St. Louis attractions. Thank you for the extra note regarding water pressure. :O)
Hope you had a safe trip to Memphis and that you will consider staying with us again for another clean and quite stay.

The hotel is nice. They DO NOT have a hot breakfast buffet. Despite what their website and the in room book says. The front desk informed us, that they did away with that about a month ago. This was one of the main reasons my mother and I stayed there. We drove in for a funeral and thought it would be really convenient to just have breakfast in the hotel since we needed to leave early both days to be with our family.

Hello and thank you for the feedback. Back by popular demand, our HOT breakfast is coming back. Our owner was testing other breakfast options and the Hot breakfast is what our guests do want and expect. Reviews are important and taken very seriously.
Have an enjoyable day and upcoming weekend.
