“A Great Bachelors Urban Retreat”
Reviewed 5 September 2014 for a stay in August 2014

My wife and I were celebrating our birthdays and anniversary with a trip to St. Louis. We wanted to stay somewhere within the city, but didn't want to stay in a dumpy hotel. The studio apartment was nice and clean. It had old flooring that was well taken care of. Had basic furnishings in a pretty small TV with a Roku box and free Wi-Fi. The apartment has a small stove and a nice refrigerator. Minimal dishes and no coffee pot is about one of the only complaints we would have. One extremely nice thing about this apartment is the shower. It is a nice steady stream of water that can get very hot for a long period of time.
The apartment is located in an up-and-coming area half Cherokee Street maybe 6 blocks away from the hustle and bustle of the antique shops and coffee shops. There are a few Mexican restaurants within three blocks and one was excellent. The access to the rest of St. Louis is superb. We were able to get downtown within about 10 minutes. Freeway access is close by and the offstreet parking is a nice touch. If you don't mind staying in a transitional urban setting, this place is for you! Definitely worth the price

“Weekend getaway”
Reviewed 11 August 2014 for a stay in August 2014

The place was just what we needed! I travel quit a bit and stay in hotels across the country - amazing to awful. My girlfriend and I were in St. Louis for a business trip and decided to spend the weekend. Perry responded quickly to our request and communicated with us clearly. The apartment is tidy and well located. Tall ceilings, good color scheme - very light. The appliances are dated, but super functional and clean. Cherokee is a a great "transitional" neighborhood. It's not for everyone, but if you are an urban person, you'll LOVE it. I highly recommend this apartment - especially if you want to stay in your own space and like urban neighborhoods.
