I just took a few pictures since other reviews said that there wasn’t much inside anymore. Still a nice building though in Forrest Park.

Other people’s photos looked so cool that I was excited to see the Jewel Box. Unfortunately, it was closed so we couldn’t get inside. Regardless, it is a pretty structure and the surrounding parkland is lovely to stroll around.

The building is beautiful, but there's really nothing in it anymore, because it's used more for weddings than for horticulture! Unlike many of the other attractions in Forest Park, the Jewel Box is not free and it costs $1 to enter. A friend and I paid to enter, we looked around for a couple of minutes and then left. It's a pretty structure, but there's not much to see!

It's a quick stop while you are in Forest Park. Open year round. I was here in August while the weather was unusually pleasant. Loved seeing the Water Lily display. So beautiful & don't forget to read about the buildings history.

Since the interior is now ab event venue there isn't much variety among the plants inside. But it's definitely worth stopping to see the exterior and the water lilies are beautiful.
