Owner description: The Fabulous Fox Theatre first opened in 1929 as a movie palace in William Fox's motion picture empire. The theatre was reopened in 1982, and today it is one of the most exquisite venues in the country to enjoy live touring Broadway shows, concerts, and comedians. “Gorgeous. Stunning piece of history.”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 27 March 2012

I had never been inside the Fabulous Fox Theater - as an actor and performer I've always heard of it but never had the chance to visit. There are no words for how stunning this beautiful theater really is. If you can visit the theater, stop in and take a look around - the staff is proud and incredibly welcoming. Backstage the walls and halls of the dressing rooms are covered with autographs of every star who's ever played the Fox dating back at least 20 years.

This was a great theater and a beautiful building. All the seats in the theater were pretty much good seats.

“Icon of St. Louis”

Preservation of this treasure from the gilded age is a boon for St. Louis. Good place for staging concerts and plays as the acoustics are good.

“Beautiful venue for a concert or play.”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 19 March 2012

We attend a concert at The Fox and enjoyed just looking around the theater the 30 minutes before. I would travel back to St. Louis to go to The fox again for a Broadway play...it is a fabulous place to see entertainment.

“Kelly Clarkson in Concert!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 18 March 2012

The fox is the most consistant good time I ever have in St. Louis. The acoustics are out of this world. There is not a bad seat in the theater. I recommend seeing any artist perform at The Fox. The broadway shows are also amazing.
