Description: Walkers is a well-established downtown favorite and a destination for locals, travelers, theater-goers, and museum patrons alike. The menu is a glorious mix of international cuisine and western comfort food and selections offer freshness and simplicity with professional wait staff that contribute friendly service in a casual, yet urban, dining setting. And the barkeeps are some of the finest in the region and have been classically-trained in the art of drink, not to mention they’re just kind of nice folk. Walkers serves dinner only, 7 days a week, with live jazz every Sunday from 7-10. Come and enjoy some great food, crafted drink and infamous Walkers’ hospitality.

First, loved the remodel. The spaces are more intimate and comfortable. The menu is short which I think lends more attention at making each dish good rather than being mediocre at a wider variety. Everything was innovative, not at all what we were expecting but very good. My favorite was the Clam Chowder with a home baked cracker with caramelized bacon jam. Awesome. The staff was excellent. The Host and Server were very friendly and helpful. The place was crowded and getting seated and drinks took a little longer than usual but they were attentive and moved things along well. They made us feel like we were at a friend's home. Great job.

Well, maybe if you'd never been here before you'd think it was OK, but the renovation seems to have been designed only to cram in more tables and therefore make it noisier. For some unknown reason, they took out the place-appropriate McConnell paintings and put up some tutti-frutti-colored corporate "art" in its place. Most disappointing, however, was the MUCH reduced menu, printed on cheap paper, and so-so food. Used to be reliably good food here, but our stroganoff was unexciting (overpowered by black pepper and no other discernible seasoning) and the curry wasn't actually a curry ... it was just chili-pepper-hot and served in a mush of overcooked rice. We'll be giving Walker's a miss...plenty of other great restaurants in Billings these days. Also, the service--while friendly and professional--was REALLY slow.

Visited this restaurant with some friends and was not disappointed. Great service and great food. Some good selections to share, especially the Artisan Meat & Cheese Plate, and I must admit I fancied some comfort, food and the meatloaf hit the spot. We had a great evening, and all of us loved the service, decor and food choices we made. Loved it!

Interesting menu, excellent food, friendly helpful service and reasonable prices. The dessert (apple crisp) was especially memorable.

In a town where Carhartt jackets and trucks reign, this Restaurant breaks the mold. It's more of a big city hip, hot spot. We went on a Sunday, when a fun live band played (and competing steak house across street is closed.)It was very lively and busy. Bread was delicious as well as Mahi Mahi and Bourbon Street Pasta. Service is good. Would definitely return. The only down side was the wine list by the glass, lots of room for improvement.
