What a find! The BBQ here is the real deal. Sides were excellent, too. The only negative is that the place was very difficult to find. (Look for the Tamarack Lodge). You guys need a much larger sign!!!!!! We were happy we ordered the combo plate so that we could taste all of the BBQ offerings - chicken, ribs, pulled pork. Amazing, authentic BBQ!!

Rustic restaurant with very friendly staff. Friday night prime rib with garlic mashed potatoes was worth the trip from New York.
We stayed in lodge overnight too.

WE had dinner there one evening and the food was excellent. We had the smoked chicken and pulled pork. Both items were excellent. The potato salad was excellent as well. The service was great.

Our guide from Glacier Raft Company recommended Oso's and we thought we should check it out, and we're very glad that we did! It's located about 12 miles west of Glacier, and it's worth the short drive. It's a unique combination of BBQ and Southwest/Mexican food that creates a culinary experience different than most of the food you'll find in and around the park. My friend and I shared the BBQ combo plate with Ribs, Pulled Pork and Chicken - all were really good and it was definitely enough for 2 people (we had leftovers). The plate was $23.50, but they charge an extra $5 for sharing and give you two extra sides. The sides were a favorite - cole slaw, potato salad, beans, and seasoned corn-on-the-cob. Delicious!! We heard that the cocktails were really special, but we skipped them this visit.

Stopped in as a family. Three of the four of us (all but my pickiest kid) loved the food. Great BBQ with a Mexican flare. Good guacamole. Very relaxed atmosphere. Highly recommend.
