Food was great but it took about an hour to get a burger and Ruben and there were only 8 other people in the place. Maybe they had a bad day in the kitchen? If your in a hurry you might be in trouble but if you have the time the service is friendly and the food was very good. My Average rating is related to the time not the quality of the food.

This is your average on the side of a road / bar food place.

I had the burger, which was nothing special, actually quiet unsatisfying, so I ordered dessert, which again was nothing special and hyper sweet.

Won't go back, as there are much better restaurants in the valley.

Good food and service! The shrimp is one of our favorites and they also cook a mean steak. Our server was very attentive.

The new owners of the Livery Sable, whom ever they are, have done an excellent job renewing both the environment and food. Breakfasts are great and well worth the wait! You can get a beer from or actually be served in The Old Saloon, 1902 Bar, which is attached. The wait staff are friendly and do a great job at making you feel welcome. Don"t pass this gem by, Emigrant, MT on your way to YNP. A must stop.

While we were leaving Yellowstone and going to Glacier National park, we stopped at Livery Stable for lunch on the 1st day of September, 2016.

There were no customers except us. A lovely lady greeted us. She was a nice person with a noble heart. I noticed the place was decorated in an old style. Some stuffed animal and bird were placed on the wall.

The lady brought a cake and candle to celebrate the birthday of my daughter. We were really overwhelmed to find her so courteous and kind.

I can not remember what we actually took for our lunch. But the sweetest feeling of joy still keeps my memory sharp to remember the Livery Stable.
