My sister and her husband were in town, and they try to eat vegetarian and vegan when possible. I searched several restaurant menus to try to find a good fit for them. This place seemed to have the most options, and since I hadn't been here in a few years, we gave it a try.
We all had vegetarian dishes (except my husband who had a burger and said it was really good). I had a Thai mushroom wrap that was quite delicious. It had some very nicely pickled and crunchy vegetables inside, with really good Thai flavorings. The mushrooms were a little chewy, so I think they had been rehydrated, but had a good flavor.
My sister had the lentil curry dish, which she said was good, but was presented differently than she expected so I think she was a little disappointed. It was a thick lentil/curry sauce on top of rice. She had hoped it would be more like a stew or soup, or at least have a more moist consistency. I tasted it and it did seem a bit dry.
My brother in law tried several dishes, a zucchini pancake, beet salad, Brussel sprouts and a dolmas type appetizer wrapped in a kale leaf or other greens. He said they were all good. (I have had the Brussel sprouts and they are quite good).
We all enjoyed the food, but we obviously ordered too much as the servings are good portions, not small plates like they were previously when I had been here before. The wait staff was very nice and engaging.
