If you are looking for a clean and friendly place to stay, look no further. We stayed here 10 years ago and it is still wonderfully maintained. We had a kitchenette last time, but there is a microwave for use, along with coffee, tea, treats and popcorn available in the office. The beds are comfortable and while there isn't air conditioning, both times we stayed were in the cooler months at night. The windows were open, the ceiling fans were running and we all had great nights of sleep. The owner is friendly, knowledgeable about the area. We played corn hole and enjoyed all the pretty flowers around the picnic tables. There is a gas grill, but we didn't use it. If you need high end amenities keep going, but if you want a clean, reasonably priced room this is the place!

This is a budget motel that offers few frills but is very clean. In a seasonal, over priced market, this motel offers good, comfortable and clean lodging for a good price. There are restaurants within walking distance and good coffee in the morning in the motel lobby.

I made a last minute call and was invited to come on down. Very comfortable stay; friendly folks; a little noisy outside but quiet in room; shower and bath. Close to all of West Yellowstone attractions. Very well kept with flowers and entertainment outside if wanted. Reasonable price for area.

Room tip: 1st floor probably best; I had an 2nd level, but it was a last minute reservation.

October 2017 we booked a house in West Yellowstone through VRBO for a family vacation in August of 2018. Four days before VRBO cancelled on us. They told us their policy was to wait until the day before our arrival date before giving any help finding an alternative. We were to look until then. Of course we would look we had family arriving from various states. Luckily my husband found the Lazy G. Janice was so kind and caring. She found us a two bedroom with a kitchen for my two sons and their families. My husband and I got a room with a kitchenette. Our stay was very special thanks to her. Another bonus the hotel is close to the park entrance and a short walk to downtown. Perfect location! Thanks again Janice.

We reserved a room with a small kitchenette and were very pleased with our room. It was clean and tidy, only 1/2 mile from the west entrance of Yellowstone National Park, and our host was very friendly and informative. This town has several hotels/motels, but I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this motel to anyone planning to stay just one night or an extended stay.
The kitchenette was fully stocked with dishes, utensils, pots & pans, etc. They do not have air conditioning, but they do have WiFi.

Room tip: If you are going to an extended stay, rent a room with a kitchenette.
